Responsibilities: Hosting and conversation, physically demonstrating products, conducting stock inventories, visual merchandising, visiting Aesop head office for training, business development and social events.
Achievements: Consistently meeting or exceeding varying KPI targets including average transaction value, unit per transaction, cross-category sales and profile linkage. I was one of a select few who hosted this year’s ‘Queer Library’ event at Aesop QV, where visitors were welcome to take a complimentary book from a selection of diverse authors.

Role: To assist social media and website content creation to create interest in adopting from the organisation.
Responsibilities: Answering adoption queries via email, interviewing customers, writing social media posts about personal adoption stories, writing and updating website articles on animal welfare and pet care.
Achievements: My supervisor noted how I received a greater than usual response rate from adopters on the email account I managed, and this resulted in a larger volume of social media posts to be published.

Role: I am a member of Alliance Française de Melbourne, where I have undertaken comprehensive French language courses and attended community events. This year I am volunteering my general assistance at the Alliance Française French Film Festival.
Responsibilities: Setting up the theatre with decorations, check-in tables and refreshment stations, welcoming patrons, helping with queue management and ushering guests inside.

Role: To pack supermarket goods for Foodbank’s charity partner orders, which are distributed throughout Australia to front-line charities and school breakfast programs to help feed people in need.
Responsibilities: Use warehouse technologies and machinery to pack pantry items onto pallets. Achievements: As a team, we packed enough goods to deliver over one thousand meals to those in need.

What I learned: How to produce my own news stories for print, radio, TV and podcast. I became familiar with DSLR and film cameras, recording studios, Adobe Audition, Premiere Pro, data visualisation tools and website-building platforms.
Achievements: I had two reports aired on Triple R’s live news bulletin, livestreamed a report for Newsline on Channel 31, and my capstone project was a finalist in Democracy’s Watchdogs’ annual award for student journalism.
